What Spatial Intelligence does
Spatial Intelligence analyses floor plan geometry to classify rooms, detect walls, map building exposure, and estimate heat loss at the room level. It runs entirely on your uploaded CAD file with no external data requirements. Results feed into the Building Mapping Studio, Consultant AI, and compliance evidence.

Room detection
Closed polygons are classified as rooms based on geometry, layer names, and spatial relationships. Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and corridors are identified automatically.
Heat loss estimation
Per-room heat loss calculations using the Q=UA*dT method with CIBSE Guide A reference temperatures. Results are linked to building exposure and wall classification.
Exposure mapping
External walls are identified and their compass orientation mapped. Know which units face north, which are sheltered, and where heat loss is concentrated.
Wall thickness analysis
Walls are classified as external, party, or partition based on thickness and position. This feeds into heat loss estimation and building fabric assessment.
